| These Western Bluebird chicks are only hours old. Two have hatched, the third has cracked his shell, and the last two eggs haven't started to hatch. |

Photo by Chuck Tribolet, triblet@almaden.ibm.com using a Nikon 105 mm macro lens, a Nikon SB-21 ringlight, and a Nikon N90s body on Kodak Lumiere 100X (LPZ) slide film.
