This Almaden On Demand Innovation Services (ODIS) site serves as a focal point for ODIS connections between IBM consultants and IBM Research, with special emphasis on the Almaden Research Center. It is organized as a set of IBM Research specialties available from Almaden. In general the researchers offering these specialties are in the process of either developing new offerings, or developing tools and methods to assist current IBM consulting practice, or both. The Almaden Research Center is known for its strength in research areas related to database and information management, storage systems, and nanotechnology.
