The Service Systems Research group focuses on the interplay of people, organizational practices, and business models.

  Services depend critically on the co-production of value through complex social-technical-economic systems.
  Business growth requires designing innovations that leverage and combine the capabilities of people and technology to create value for clients.

Our team brings together capabilities in social, computer, business, design, and cognitive sciences to understand, model, and improve service systems.

  Study coordination among individuals, groups, companies, and technology through communication, interaction, and information production and use.
  Measure and model work practices and business organizations through innovative methods and technologies.
  Innovate support coordination and increase impact, through technologies, learning, organizational design, and other interventions.
