I have been a Research Staff Member in IBM Research since 1979, and am currently the manager of the Human Interface Research group in Computer Science at the IBM Almaden Research Center. We are an experimental group, exploring and testing new paradigms for using computers. We are dedicated to understanding physical, cognitive, graphical and interpersonal needs of users of information technology.
