I do research in the general area of human-computer interaction (HCI).

Before joining Almaden, I was an assistant professor at University at Albany, SUNY. I got my PhD degree in information from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to that, I obtained a MS degree in human factors from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. My BS degree in psychology was from East China Normal University in Shanghai.
