RESEARCH
INTEREST
Lan Huang is a research staff member in Storage-Specific
Solutions and Services group at the IBM Almaden
Research Center in San Jose, California.
She joined IBM in 2002. She holds
PhD in Computer Science. Her research interests fall in the broad area of
systems with a focus on storage systems and file systems. She is currently
working on autonomic system and data management. She designed and built Content Immutable
Storage (CIS) for trustworthy record keeping.
Her earlier work includes architecting and implementing a virtualized
storage cluster with quality-of-service (QoS)
guarantees.
