Carnatic Music

I am an avid follower of "Carnatic music", the classical music of Southern India, and also an accomplished player of the "mrudhangam", the primary south indian percussion instrument. Besides carnatic music, I also enjoy listening to north indian classical music (called "Hindustani music"), western classical music, ghazal (another Indian musical form based primarily on melodic renditions of Urdu poetry), and jazz.
