Intelligent Data Storage (IDS)
Computer Science

Archiving is an intelligent process for moving inactive or infrequently accessed data, that still has business value, while providing the ability to search and retrieve the data. The Intelligent Data Storage project is a collaboration between the Computer Science and Storage research divisions to leverage the best from the Content Management and Storage Management spaces to create an intelligent archive solution.
