TrackPoint -- In-Keyboard Pointing Device Nestled between the G, H, and B keys on notebook computers from IBM is the TrackPoint pointing device. Often referred to as "the little red button," TrackPoint is a major selling feature of the IBM ThinkPad line of computers. Although similar devices are now available from other manufacturers, TrackPoint has clearly superior performance due to creative work by IBM Research.
