Spin Currents 2009 Retreat
|
This year's meeting brings together world leading experts in the field of quantum spintronics to discuss recent developments in
the driving mechanism of magnetic domains, the anomalous Hall effect, the spin Hall effect, the quantum spin Hall
effect, the persistent spin helix and novel spin physics in transition metal oxides.
Students and postdocs are invited to present
posters on their recent work.
The workshop will be held as a retreat by the beautiful Fallen Leaf Lake at the Stanford Sierra Conference Center in South Lake Tahoe, California,
on the weekend of April 17-19, 2009.
Membership Rates:
- Attending: $450 (double occupancy bedroom)
- Attending: $550 (single occupancy bedroom)
- Student: $350 (double occupancy bedroom)
- Spouse/Companion: $225 (sharing room with attendee)
- Child: $125 (up to age 12, sharing with parent(s))
