Biography
Joanna Lankester is an Electrical Engineering Ph.D. student at Stanford University. Her research at SpinAps at Almaden includes studying magnetic domain wall movement in nanowires at low temperatures.

Before coming to Stanford and IBM, Joanna earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2006. She was awarded a National Science Foundation fellowship for graduate studies in 2006.
