Biography
Rekha Rajaram is a PhD candidate at Stanford University as well as a supplemental employee at IBM Almaden Research Center. Her research is focussed on growth and characterization of dilute magnetic semiconductors based on Nitrides and Oxides. While at IBM, she has also been involved with development and maintenance of materials deposition and analysis systems, that have been built for fabrication of novel materials for spintronics applications.

Born in New Delhi, India, Rajaram received her undergraduate education at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. She earned a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering in 2004 from Stanford University, where she has been pursuing her graduate studies since 2001.
