Biography
Roberto Rodio is a Master student from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He is doing research in the Almaden Magnetoelectronics and Spintronics Group for his Master's thesis, focusing his activity on the Metal Insulator Transition of Vanadium compounds to study how temperature, electric field and applied spin-polarized current can drive this phenomenon.

Born in Rivoli (TO), Italy, Roberto will graduate in September 2008 obtaining an international Master diploma in Nanotechnology from three sponsoring Universities: Polytechnic of Torino (Italy), Swiss Federal Institute of Technology at Lausanne (Switzerland) and Grenoble Institute of Technology (France). He earned his Bachelor degree in Physical Engineering (2006, cum laude) at Politecnico di Torino.
