Biography
Roger Wang was one of the first SpinAps students and completed his Ph.D. from Stanford University's Electrical Engineering Department in March 2006. While studying at Stanford, he conducted his research at IBM Almaden Research Center on the injection and manipulation of electron spins in ferromagnetic metal/insulator tunnel junctions and semiconductors. His advisors were SpinAps Co-Directors Dr. Stuart S. P. Parkin at IBM Almaden and Professor James S. Harris at Stanford. Roger is now an engineer at Lam Research.

Born in Johnson City, NY, Wang attended Penn State University, where he earned a bachelors degree in engineering science in 2001. He was awarded a masters degree in electrical engineering at Stanford in January 2004.
